On Sunday afternoons we will meditate together using two types of meditation, Calm Abiding and a guided OM AH HUNG practice.

Calm-Abiding Meditation
Calm Abiding Meditation Practice is a silent meditation that develops awareness. As it is, one’s mind is bewildered on account of the many distractions and as a result one has no control and loses oneself to these distractions. Through the practice of calm abiding meditation the mind will eventually become clear and free of agitation.

Guided OM AH HUNG Meditation – Introduction and Practice
This is an introductory practice in compassion training to gain familiarization and a create a foundation for tantric meditation practices. We will use a teaching from Khenchen Konchok Gyaltsen Rinpoche for this practice.
