The Tradition of Generosity

Garchen Mila Buddhist Center continues the 2,600-year-old Buddhist tradition of offering teachings and meditation sessions freely to all. Our center is run entirely by volunteers and sustained by the generosity of our community — making it possible to share the profound teachings of Tibetan Buddhism with everyone, regardless of their means.

If you attend regularly, we warmly invite you to contribute to help sustain our programs. If you are joining us occasionally, even a modest donation is deeply appreciated. Every gift, large or small, makes a meaningful difference.

Garchen Mila Buddhist Center is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization with church status. Please note that our legal registered name is Milarepa Buddhist Center of Iowa, which is how we appear on tax documents, though we operate publicly as Garchen Mila Buddhist Center.
